Chapter 581: More Than Enough to Merit Death
Chapter 581: More Than Enough to Merit Death
"I’ve heard that without your vital organ, you can’t reincarnate after death, or you’ll be reborn as an animal and suffer a lifetime of torment!"
Yang Cheng gave a cold smile, looking down at the bald man.
"You folks rob people in this place, you’ve probably killed quite a few, right? This is your karma."
The bald man trembled all over, looking at him as if he were seeing a demon.
"Hurry up! Or I’ll kill you!"
He suddenly shouted, scaring the bald man into trembling again.
To stay alive, the bald man could only grit his teeth and walk over, first pulling the dagger out of the pockmarked man’s body and cutting off his vital organ.
The bloody thing fell to the ground, and he couldn’t help but gag. Then he forced himself to deal with the remaining ones, suppressing his nausea.
His movements were too slow, and Yang Cheng gradually lost patience, saying slowly, "Enough, no need to cut anymore."
The bald man breathed a sigh of relief, thinking the torture was finally over, but then he heard the devil’s whisper in his ear: "Eat all this filth!"
"Urgh..."
The bald man gagged, fear all over his face.
Even for someone as cruel as him, hearing Yang Cheng’s words made him feel Yang Cheng was too vicious.
Yang Cheng considered himself usually sunny, kind, and handsome, but facing these heartless people, he had to be a bit ruthless.
Looking at the pile of rotten flesh, the bald man ultimately couldn’t bring himself to do it, and he knelt in front of Yang Cheng, sobbing.
"I haven’t killed anyone, just seeking money. I’ve done everything you said, give me a chance to reform. I’ll give you all my savings!"
Bang bang!
Saying this, he frantically kowtowed to Yang Cheng, hoping to arouse a bit of pity and let him go.
Letting him go was absolutely impossible!
Keeping such a dangerous person around is irresponsible to the innocent.
Yang Cheng no longer wasted time, flicking out two Silver Needles, stabbing directly through his heart.
He fell to the ground with a thud, eyes filled with unwillingness and regret, mouth overflowing with painful whimpers.
"He deserved to die!"
Yang Cheng dropped a remark, filled the car with gas, and turned away from this trouble-filled place.
In the short term, no one would come to this area, and even if they did, no one would care about these people’s life and death, all thinking it was a dispute over spoils leading to a fight.
Throughout the journey, Uncle Pan remained silent. You couldn’t blame the old man for being ignorant; seeing Yang Cheng’s methods scared him into speechlessness.
"Uncle Pan, is it necessary to be so afraid of me? I’m only harsh to enemies, very easygoing with my people."
Yang Cheng smiled slightly, showing off his white teeth.
Uncle Pan tugged at the corner of his mouth, struggling to squeeze out a smile, "I... I know you’re a good person, why else would you treat the villagers for free."
His mind was racing, hoping he hadn’t offended the kid before.
Seeing him break into a cold sweat, Yang Cheng felt like he was bullying an old man, so he kept silent, speeding to the city center quickly.
Luochuan City was originally sparsely populated. Yang Cheng parked the car at the mall’s entrance and took Uncle Pan inside.
Previously, Uncle Pan used to shop at small supermarkets or wholesale markets because the prices were cheap there. It was his first time visiting a mall, making him appear very uneasy.
"Don’t be nervous, just say whatever you like, I’ll pay for it."
Yang Cheng thought the old man was a bit pitiful, reminded of his deceased grandfather.
"No need, I don’t want clothes. Later I’ll just buy some food to improve my meals."
Uncle Pan chuckled, feeling satisfied with just eating some meat.
"After the mall, I’ll first take you for a meal, then go buy meat at the market."
Yang Cheng knew he was surely still reminiscing about the last restaurant meal. Fortunately, he had been in the village for the past days, eating very bland food, needing to buy more dishes to take back.
Finishing his words, he walked into a store directly, while Uncle Pan, about to follow, was stopped by a clerk.
"Old man, this is not a place you can enter, you’re filthy, don’t dirty our clothes."
The clerk was a sharp-tongued woman in her forties, pinching her nose disdainfully.
Uncle Pan looked embarrassed, having already worn his cleanest clothes to the city, yet still being despised.
"I’m buying clothes for him, if you don’t let him in, how am I supposed to buy?"
Yang Cheng frowned unpleasantly, glaring at the sharp-tongued woman.
The woman raised her head, sneering, "Even if he came in, he can’t try on the clothes. If he dirties them, can you afford it? Besides, if you sincerely want to buy, just pick one and pay, no need to let the old man in to disgust us."
Upon those words, Uncle Pan felt utterly embarrassed, murmuring, "Let’s... go somewhere else."
"Hah! With you looking like that, which store would entertain you?"
The woman sneered coldly, her arrogance on full display.
Uncle Pan wasn’t dirty; his clothes were just faded from washing, a clear sign of a poor person.
"Snobbish dog!"
Yang Cheng dropped a line and walked away.
"Hey! How dare you curse! Stay right there!"
The sharp-tongued woman screamed, enraged.
Yang Cheng didn’t bother with her snobbery, pulling Uncle Pan to the next store, asking if he could bring Uncle Pan inside.
This time, they were greeted by a young woman in her twenties, who smiled and said, "Of course, please follow me."
The young woman showed no impatience, softly inquiring who Yang Cheng intended to buy clothes for, then recommended some outfits.
Yang Cheng nodded in satisfaction; this girl wasn’t snobbish and recommended suitable clothes for Uncle Pan at moderate prices.
"Is your boss around?"
He suddenly asked.
The clerk felt somewhat anxious, asking, "Sir, is there anything wrong?"
"Not at all, just want to discuss some business with him; don’t worry, you’ll get your share of benefits."
Yang Cheng smiled warmly.
The clerk, still slightly uneasy, turned away to call the boss.
Shortly afterward, a middle-aged man came out, beaming, "Sir, what can I do for you?"
"The quality of the clothes in your store is good. I’d like to order three hundred sets, half men’s and half women’s."
Yang Cheng checked the registry given by Yun Chan, and there were just over two hundred people in Hidden Cloud Village. Three hundred sets were enough for all of them; the rest would stay with Yun Chan for rewarding whoever behaved well or sell to them at a low price.
Later, he planned to check out the children’s clothing store, getting new outfits for the village kids.
"Three hundred sets? Sir, you’re not joking, are you?"
The shop owner was dumbfounded. There had been orders for corporate clothing, but due to his store’s expensive prices, they seldom exceeded dozens of sets, let alone hundreds.
