Dorothy was quite happy eating melon seeds.

"Goodness, teacher, you’re really extravagant. The fact that your parents didn’t beat you to death proves you’re indeed their own child."

She then slashed open a rift in space and tossed the eaten melon rind into it; if the rind didn’t have an avoidance skill, the chaotic void would obliterate it.

Only then did the homebody witch clap her hands, wiping off the melon juice with a cleaning curse while deactivating "Calm as Still Water" to reveal her presence.

Hmm, can’t keep watching, they’ll really start fighting. It’s both her mother and teacher — wouldn’t know how to pull them apart if they did.

"Don’t worry, teacher, I’ll help you in retirement; you can leave those tasks to me."

She spoke obediently and considerately.

"Dorothy, you’re spoiling her too much."

Mother Dragon said helplessly.

Of course, Euphilia felt a bit envious; after all, her own daughter hadn’t even mentioned supporting her in her old age, and she’s already pledging to care for someone else.

And, it’s not that Spider Witch was afraid of scolding; she truly respected the Academy Head since that old lady truly took care of her. She only got the job at Witch Academy because the Academy Head approved; running off without a word would be impolite.

"Don’t worry, I’ll apply to the Academy Head; she owes me a favor."

Dorothy assured.

Indeed, although she’d plundered the Angel Witch’s Ancestral Court, she did help remove a parasitic blight from their clan. The Academy Head indeed owed her a favor, so asking her to inform Spider Teacher was not a big deal.
